This looked like a great starting point, and it was!! I'm trying to watch (a little bit!) my calories and fiber, etc., so I used half rice and half bulgur. Also added lots of garlic and was more generous with the thyme. Also used the boxes of chicken stock, instead of bouillon cubes. Also replaced the pepper with chopped hot peppers. I omitted the almonds. Also, I noticed I didn't need the full amount of cooking time. Thanks to Dorothy for this great foundation, I'm really grateful!
