Directions

  1. HEAT oil in large skillet. Add chicken; cook, stirring occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
  2. ADD shallot to skillet; stir, scraping up brown bits on bottom. Cook, stirring constantly, until shallot is tender. Whisk in evaporated milk, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and tarragon; cook, whisking constantly, until sauce thickens slightly. Stir in chicken; cook until heated through.
  3. PREPARE pasta according to package directions. Pour sauce over pasta; serve immediately.

It was such a strange taste. The licorice made the meal taste awful. Its one of those foods that the first couple bites are okay but by the middle-end of the plate... you are sick of that taste! My boyfriend and I both agree, we are not making this again.

A little less Tarragon would have made it taste better. The licorice flavour doesn't really fit with the cheese and chicken sauce.
