olive oil, divided
boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
crimini mushrooms, sliced
Holland House® White Cooking Wine
dried red pepper flakes
sour cream (regular or reduced fat)
grated Parmesan cheese
fresh ground black pepper
dry whole wheat pasta, cooked according to package directions
Yummy! Instead of microwaving the broccoli I just added it to the pan after I added the chicken broth which I used instead of wine. Another way to cut the fat in this is use half sour cream and half plain yogurt. You'll find that most people can't even tell the difference. Will make again!
I followed this recipe exactly and it was VERY bland. Even with the red pepper. Chicken broth would have been better than wine and cream or 1/2&1/2 would have been better than sour cream. Won't make again.
The flavors in this were excellent!
