Oh yes! This is the best recipe in the world and it certainly is not just for Christmas as I used to do. Now I make these Chewy Noels all year long and call them chewy cake-bars. I have this recipe in my Better Homes and Gardens Homemade Cookies book that I have had for over 30 years and I have used this same recipe that long. I have used pecans if I didn't have walnuts but it is better with walnuts. Everyone should try this recipe. It is so good you have to make a double batch!!

Yummy, chewy!!! I don't think they need the frosting.just plain is really good

Too sweet! I would cut the sugar by at least a qtr cup.
