I've had the pleasure of making these several times now before they were published. Everyone who has tried them, loves them! Here is my original review: "YUM! Super delicious cookie! This recipe made exactly 18 cookies with my small 1 1/2 inch cookie scoop, and only took 15 minutes in my oven. I ended up using ground almonds because we were out of walnuts, but the almonds go so nicely with cherries. If I do almonds again I think I will add a 1/4 tsp of almond extract to enhance the flavour. Only one problem, there isn't enough cookies for our hungry household! ;) I may have to double it next time. This is definitely going into my Christmas cookie exchange this year, thanks for the wonderful recipe!" -I have also doubled this recipe, and it works out great, I also used almond extract with the ground almonds, and it was fantastic, but of course the walnuts are fantastic too!
