Ingredients

  • 8 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) package Cheddar cheese, sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  2. In a 2 quart casserole dish layer 1/3 of the potatoes, then 1/3 of the flour and 1/3 of the cheese. Repeat layering 2 more times, ending with cheese. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Pour milk over top; use more or less, to reach 2/3 of height of casserole dish.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
