I improvised a little, added more potatoes, used water instead of chicken stock with rapunzzel boullion, used mexican cheese, and it looked totally funky, BUT it was delicious, I ate four bowls, and my uber-picky daughter (with food sensory issues) had two bowls! will definitely be making this again! probably weekly
Hey everybody .... this is a Great recipe . I tryed this last night for my son , who loves potato soup .
Easy basic potato soup recipe. Definitely good for kids and busy moms. I added carrots for some added nutrition.

Excellent soup I followed it exactly. I did add corn but that was the only thing I improvised. Soooo good, my husband told me to make a double batch next time.
Fantastic. Simple potato soup. I made a double batch tonight. I doubled the bacon (and then some.) Also upped the potato and cut the chunks larger to 1/2-3/4 inch. Didn't have any extra sharp but Sharp worked just fine. Thanks for sharing!
