Ingredients

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats

Directions

  1. In a saucepan combine the sugar, milk, cocoa, and margarine. Cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly, bring mixture to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla, peanut butter, and quick cooking oats.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto sheets of greased waxed paper. Let cool. Store cookies in an airtight container.
