Original Recipe Yield 2 dozen
 

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 ounce) square semisweet chocolate
  • 1/4 cup margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces

Directions

  1. Melt the chocolate over low heat. Set aside.
  2. Mix together all of the ingredients except the candies. Pour in chocolate and blend well.
  3. Form dough into balls and place on cookie sheets. Place 3 - 5 pieces of candy on the top of the balls.
  4. Bake in a 350 degree F (175 degrees C ) oven for 10 - 12 minutes.
