The heat is there but it definitely needs SALT. Otherwise it was very very good!

Very good! I added some sea salt to the fish for added flavor. Also used olive oil/butter mix instead of the butter flavored spray. I sauteed some shrimp in the fish/seasoning drippings after fish was cooked & added shrimp to the top of fish on serving platter. Looked amazing & tasted great!

Though there is good heat to this it's still on the bland side. It's satisfactory.

Wonderful! I was so nervous because I have never cooked fish on the stove before - always baked or broiled. The fish cooked perfectly, the butter spray worked like a charm, and the spice mixture was awesome. Beware, it is hot! Next time I will cut the pepper back a bit, but it was still good the way it was. The best part of this was that it was so healthy (no frying) and still managed to taste fried with the butter spray. No one would ever know the difference. Permanent Keeper!

This was really good! I was raised only on fried catfish, so this was a stretch for me. It was so good, I suprised my husband at work with it and he loved it! I only added a pinch of salt to both sides and used olive oil instead of the spray on butter.

This catfish was okay. Really wanted to get too crispy/burn in the pan. Definitely would stick with coating only one side of the fish with seasoning. Not as good as other catfish recipes I have.

I followed the recipe exactly and both my husband and I thought it was tasteless. The presentation was beautiful and the fish was cooked perfectly but there just wasn't any flavor to it.

Wonderful basic recipe! All I had on hand was some "italian seasoning" so I used that and I didn't have any butter spray so I used butter on the fish and butter with a little canola oil in the pan. I was wondering if the instructions were right when it said to only coat one side of the fish withthe seasoning. It was! There was the perfect amount of seasoning on the fish and it had such a wonderful texture.
