I prepared this dish for 100 people at our organization's Co Chon De Lait Hog Roast Fundraiser. It was a hit and we received so many positive comments. For my family, I would have increased the Cajun Seasoning a bit, but since this was a large crowd, I thought I should use the amount stated in the recipe. I really like the "calculate" feature, very useful to increase this dish to large amounts. I most certainly will prepare this dish again!

This recipe is now a new favorite with my family. I added cheese just to give it an extra kick.

This was ok. I added some chopped keilbasa sausage to the mix. Had that not been included I dont think it would have been very good. I'd cook the rice first so the cabbage wouldnt be overcooked and soggy had I to do it all over again.

My family & I really liked this recipe. I had a half head of cabbage left over from another night's dinner, so this was a great, easy inexpensive meal. I found that I had to add a LOT more seasoning (salt, pepepr & cajun). When I finally got the seasoning down, I still felt there was something missing, so I threw in a heaping handful of cheddar cheese....that hit the spot. In my family, we call this a "do again".

I've made this along time ago but the original recipe calls for cheese, which was to be added before baking. This recipe does not tell you when to add the cabbage so I added it along with the rice and tomato. I still like it better with the cheese. Without it, it tasted like something was missing.
