As posted, this recipe does not work. As an attempted fix, added two eggs, 1 tsp baking power, 1/2 tsp salt. Baking required 20 minutes, not 8. The result did not, and could not, roll up as described. Didn't even try as it was obvious the brownies would crumble. Gave this two starts instead of 1 because the result did taste good, but as posted, this recipe fails.

The brownie layer did not work at all -- it crumbled when we tried to roll it (even though we tried to press it together) and again when we unrolled it. The baking time was off - it was still liquid at 8 minutes. I'm surprised anyone succeeded with this recipe.

These cookies were a JOKE! I'm an experienced baker too. Dough took longer to cook than advised, it crumbled while rolling - cooled completely as instructed and dough completely broke apart while unrolling. DEF stay away from this recipe. Didnt even make it to the frosting part cause dough was ruined.

This recipe had many problems that I discovered throughout the process of baking them. 1. The recipe didn't call for eggs so didn't cook thoroughly. 2. It took 6 extra minutes to cook until a toothpick almost came out clean. 3. After cooking, it smelled burnt. 4. The rolling of the cookie was a disaster. The cookie crumbled and had to be mushed into it's ideal shape causing it to look terrible. 5. For all the extra work it took to make the cookies, they didn't taste as good as expected. For all these reasons, please stay away from this recipe. It needs some major improvements.

When I made this recipe I found it impossible to roll out the dough to make the pinwheel. Any suggestions on how to fix that would be great as the recipe sounds good.
