This is THE best pie crust recipe! I have tried many over the years, ending up buying them premade and then just stayed away from baking pies just because I could never get the crust right. This weekend, i WAS determined to get it right and I did thanks to this recipe! This is the recipe I will always use. I ended up needing 4 T water. I let the dough chill only 1 hour and also all day-same outcome-a great buttery flakey crust! I did not roll the dough in between plastic wrap; I just used flour on my board with flour on the rolling pin. Watching the video helped as I alwys had trouble transferring the dough to the pie plate. Now that I have perfected this in time for Thanksgiving, I am going to find neat ways to decorate the pies! Thanks!
