BUSH'S® Barbeque Beef and Beans Casserole

Original Recipe Yield 6 servings

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef
2 (16 ounce) cans BUSH'S® Baked Beans
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper (optional)
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (8.5 ounce) package corn muffin mix
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and green pepper until meat is browned; drain. Combine meat mixture, BUSH'S® Baked Beans and tomato paste. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish. Prepare muffin mix according to package directions. Spread evenly over bean mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and continue baking 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
