Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 6)

This stuff is soooo good! I met a lady that used to bring this to all parties. I finally asked her for the recipe and she told me it was this one on here. I never would have thought to make a buffalo chicken dip using canned chicken. Most of the others on the site have blue cheese, which is not always popular with a lot of people. This is perfect. I had the large 12oz cans of chicken from Costco. I made a 1/2 recipe and just used one. I mixed up my own ranch dressing with ranch powder and lite sour cream and Hellmans mayo with olive oil. I accidentally measured out 1 cup of a cheddar cheese blend and just used that. I didn't want to wait to set it in the crock pot, so I topped it with cheese and put it in my Nu Wave oven for 8 minutes. This is great with tortilla chips and will be served on Super Bowl. Thank you, so much quicker and easier than making buffalo wings.

This recipe is delish! All the guys request for football games, I am lazy though and just throw all ingredients into a ceramic baker, so I have less dishes, and bake at 375 for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

This recipe has been the staple of every party and gathering I have hosted for the past three years. I prefer to replace the Ranch with Blue Cheese dressing for an extra kick. It's also great with Wheat Thins or Triscuits.

This is a good concept but an INCREDIBLE dish if you substitute a finely chopped whole rotissorie chicken use only 1 package of 8 oz cream cheese and 1/2 C ranch and 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing.

This dip was delicious...I should have used Frank's hot sauce, but I had "One Hot Mama" on hand and it was very hot, but it was very good for those of us who like things on the spicier side. I used diced turkey leftover from Christmas dinner! This will become an annual Boxing Day tradition in our house.

Decent base recipe. Changes I make: I cook 1lb chicken breasts in the crock pot the day before with a little water and shred.....canned chicken creeps me out...if in a pinch I buy a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store and shred. I use a good blue cheee instead of ranch because I eat my buffalo wings with blue cheese and frankly I hate ranch.

5 star with these changes: I used chicken breasts boiled & then shredded instead of canned chicken, I added some butter to chicken in the skillet with the hot sauce. I used 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing & 1/2 cup ranch dressing in place of 1 cup ranch dressing. Tried it with extra hot sauce to make it spicier but it was too salty. Doesn't need to go in slow cooker, I heated it in oven before serving. May need to be reaheated, but it tends to get eaten even if some is left to get cold! Served with tostito scoops.

Only used one package of cream cheese cuz that's all I had but it turned out great. I put 2 chicken breasts in the crockpot with the hot sauce and then shredded it. It was very good
