I made this recipe twice now. The first time I used only 8 oz cream cheese, 1 cup confectioners sugar, and a 8 oz carton of thawed frozen whipped topping. I used 1/2 of the carton with the cream cheese and the other half on top of the chocolate pudding. I brought this to a potluck and it was one of the first dishes to be emptied! The second time I made this I made the cream cheese filling the same as before but I topped it with sliced strawberries. It went fast also. My dd thought that I had ruined the strawberries but when she tried it she wanted to know when I was making it again!

This is a good recipe, but not the best. The cool whip was a little bit overkill. I think it would be better if you had just the fist layer of cool whip/cream cheese and then some cherry pie filling poured over top or something.

I made this for work and they loved it. I do suggest cutting back on the cream cheese and whipped topping combo, if you use the amount in the recipe it will be to much.

"heavenly!" as my co-workers kept calling this dessert. I made this for a girls last night at work. when i went to try a piece the pan was nearly gone. my co-workers kept raving about how delicous it is. will definately make again and again! only thing i did different was leave the walnuts off and top with 2 heath bars and cut back on the amount of cool whip that goes on top. Terrific!!!

It's a very easy delicious quick dessert. I made it for a family party. Everyone loved it Although, I would suggest cutting the milk down to 1 1/2 cups so the pudding is firmer. I also topped it with the Heath baking bits

There is a lot of work and ingredients for just one desert. However, it's like eating cheese cake over brownies. So if you really want to make an impression at a pot luck, this is the treat to bring.

I would have given it 3 stars but I know that some of my ingredients weren't the best quality (I was trying to be frugal with prices!). My brownie mix wasn't the best and I used lowfat cream cheese. Anyway, it was only ok. Nothing to write home about. I also put heath pieces on top instead of nuts, which was good. I agree with one of the other reviewers that that the ingredients didn't "blend" together too well. Overall, it was good but I would only make it again if I had much better ingredients like name brand cheese and whipped topping (or just made my own whipped topping) and a good brownie mix (or make homemade ones).
