Followed directions as close as I could with what I had. Didn't have ginger so didn't use that, and used Stove Top in lieu of crackers. I put the brown suger and ketchup, and added Worcestershire sauce to the bottom of the pan as well as the top of the meatloaf. Also added cooked onion and green pepers. HUGE hit with the family!

I love this recipe and when I make it the only thing I have done to alter it is to add green peppers to it and add bread crumbs instead of saltines. my boy want this meatloaf all the time!!!

I actually made this recipe about 4 years ago. To this day, my family still rates this as my one and only culinary failure. I followed the recipe exactly as written. The flavor of the sweet brown sugar and the lean ground beef was just not a flavor any of us cared for. I am sorry for the bad review!

I loved this! I actually added bell peppers and garlic as well. Spiced up the meatloaf more... so the sweet with the spicy! Was awesome!

WAY too sweet for our tastes. Well, except for my 5 yr old...he loved it. Meatloaf itself was good but need to adjust the amount of brown sugar next time. Thanks for a good idea...

I became a memeber because of this recipe. I was so looking forward to sweet and savory. Like another user suggested, I mixed the ketchup and brown sugar mixture directly into the meatloaf. BIG mistake! I had to use other ingredients to give it some spice but the sweet was overpowering. I am giving this one more star because it was better the next day. However, my kid loved it!

Best meatloaf I have had in a very long time. I used ground turkey and did not have any eggs on hand. I also did not want to us crackers, so I crumbled about three slices of wheat bread, I also took others tip of only using 1/2 cup milk and onion soup mix in lieu of fresh onion. I also put a little brown sugar in the meat mixture along with some ketchup and worchestire sauce...turned out excellent! Yum!
