Great salad! My wife doesn't like raisins, so I used dried currants. She and all four of my kids demolished it.

I've been making this for a few years now and it is always a major hit. You can also modify it as needed because the dressing is what makes this fantastic.

It was really good although I think next time I will reduce the amount of sugar.

I use this salad recipe all the time. It is so easy and user friendly. I use dark raisins, dried cranberries or dried cherries, whatever I have on hand as well as cauliflower too. It is the dressing that adds the flavor. I also change the vinegar once in awhile. This time I used red wine vinegar. It is so easy to make and take places. We never tire of it.

Excellent salad, I get requests for the recipe everytime I make it! I use golden raisins and in a pinch once, I substituted ham (diced tiny) for the bacon bits - it was just as popular.

Family and guests loved this. I didn't have bacon, used bacon bits and some leftover cranberry, raisin, pistachio mix. Will make again real soon.

This is a great recipe! I've been making a similar one for years and never found anyone to not like it! Suggestions: use red wine vinegar for a "twang" and just before serving, I add 1-1.5 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese!

I have been making this for years except with the addition of cheddar cheese chunks and cashews instead of sunflower kernels. If I don't think it's going to be eaten in one sitting, I serve it with the dressing on the side so it doesn't get soggy in the fridge.

I have used a recipe very similar to this for years now. I use half broccoli and half cauliflower, raisins or dried cranberries, you can also add 4oz (1/2 of one of the bags of preshredded) of shredded cheddar cheese, and I use rice wine vinegar for added flavor (you can also use this dressing for just normal coleslaw as well). If you need to save time buy the precooked bacon.
