  1. Add George Dickel, fine grain sugar, and cloves in old-fashioned glass or mug.
  2. Add 1 to 2 oz. (or more, if desired) boiling water and stir.

I enjoy bourbon very much, and I was afraid two cloves would be overpowering for such a small amount of liquid. But I was very pleasantly surprised. My wife doesn't drink much bourbon, but she liked it, too. This is a very nice mellow drink.

This will warm you up if you just came in from the cold and rain. I make mine with Bench Mark bourbon.
