Good chili, but way TOO SALTY! I didn't even add the salt, but 4 cubes of bouillon is overkill!! Next time, I'll just add one, or skip the bouillon.

I fell in love with this. However, everyone else in my family hates the heat. That didn't stop my son who ate it with 5 glasses of water. Was worth 5 stars just for that.

I made this recipe with a few additions of my own and 3 subtractions. I WON FIRST place in a regional Chili Cook-off. With a 12 judge panel. With a cash prise, award certificate and Ribbon and my name in the news paper.. .. :)

This is the best chili recipe ever! My family LOVES it and my kids ask for it over and over! I do modify it a little. I use 1 lbs lean ground beef and 1 lb lean ground turkey sausage to reduce the fat. I also blend the tomatoes as my kids don't like chunky tomatoes. I use chicken stock in place of the beer. And I just leave out the chili peppers as it is already plenty "HOT" for our liking without them. Very little modification but very, very tasty! Don't be afraid to give it a try! I always make it in the crockpot and let is simmer all day. It's always better that way and even better the next day! Makes a very large pot . . plenty of leftovers!!

I love this recipe, I did modify it by using ground turkey, instead of ground beef and by using Hot Italian sausage also no sugar. Entering a chili cook off contest with this one next month!!!
