Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 pound Bob Evans® Original Roll Sausage (can use favorite flavor)
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/2 green pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder

Directions

  1. Place cabbage in microwave-safe bowl. Add 2 Tbsp. water. Cover and heat on high 5 minutes. Remove 8 leaves and trim out thick stems. Set aside.
  2. In large bowl, combine sausage, rice, green pepper, onion and chili powder. Mix until blended. Place 1/2 cup sausage mixture on each cabbage leaf and roll up. Place in slow cooker. Combine tomatoes, tomato sauce and chili powder. Pour over cabbage rolls. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or until sausage is cooked.
