These were really great! I have an everlasting qeust to find the perfect sugar cookies, and this has come pretty close to being it. Straight from the oven they are soft, but after the cool they get harder and crispier. So, I took them out a little before they looked done since I like soft cookies. Also, the recipe calls for lemon extract,and because I am not wild about the lemon taste (just my preference)though they were still pretty good, I used 1/8 tsp almond extract. I think they might be even better without it, just vanilla extract. Thanks sp much!
