Black Halloween Punch Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 6)

This punch was such a hit at a Halloween party we attended, I doubled it of course, and made ice cubes out of both orange and grape Kool-Aid, and put a gummy worm in the center of each cube before freezing, then just put a couple ice cubes in everyone's cup before adding the punch. What a treat, even the adults loved it!

This was very good. I made it for my families Halloween party and everyone really enjoyed it. My only complaint would be that it turned to a brown and nowhere near black, but it still had everyone making second guesses about taking a sip.

This had a nice effect! The frozen hand will not melt as quickly if you chill the punch first.

The color of this was a hit, it looked gross. My kids loved the taste. I thought it was a bit sweet. I even left out almost half the sugar considering I was adding ginger ale. For some reason you couldn't see the fingers in the hand when I added it to the punch, they sunk maybe because they had gummy worms in them. I did fill the glove with red koolade though so it still was cool. Definitely a kids drink either way though. I got a brain mold to try that next year. Will probably make againg but I won't be drinking it.

This tasted quite strange to the adults at the party, but the kids loved it and that's who it's for, right? LOL It also had an awesome bubbly effect when the ginger ale was added so that was cool for Halloween too. Thanks for the recipe!

As a person who doesn't really like punch, I was skeptical of any punch recipe. But I came across this one and decided to fix it for my guests at a Halloween party. I made it exactly as the recipe calls for and spiked it with some rum and it was *incredible*! I was very impressed, and will make this again for Halloween or an Over-The-Hill party!
