These where a big hit with the guys at my local coffee shop. I did use all butter and not shorting, and only backed them for 10 mins. They where very soft, almost to soft. Next time I may bake for 11 mins. A keeper for sure. 0(* @ *)0

These are without a shadow of a doubt THE BEST oatmeal cookies I've ever tasted. Ever. Seriously... EVER. I saw a comment about them coming out soggy and honestly, I have no idea how that could happen if you follow the instructions. I left them for about 10-11 minutes with the heat a bit higher and they came out hard on the outside, but soft on the inside. I used ground walnuts because I had no raisins in the house and OH.MY.GOD. The deliciousness!

I just made these cookies and they turned out awesome! Light and semi crispy but still chewy. I always use organic cane sugar instead of the more refined sugars and I find it makes them even tastier. I followed the recipe exactly except I added chopped pecans. Super yummy!

Fast and easy to put together. I did use all butter instead of the shortening. My brother strongly objected to a batch being taken to the girls at work.

I used additional spices (nutmeg, ginger) and 1 1/2 raisins. Its an excellent recipe and when so many (3000+) like anything on this website, its always good.
