This is the second time I have made this recipe. The first time I did not think the cookies were anything special and would have probably given the recipe 3 stars. This last batch turned out very different. The cookies were puffier and had the crispy outside soft center that makes them special. I can only think of one thing that I did differently. Instead of adding the flour to the wet ingredients with my mixer, I stirred in the flour using a wooden spoon as shown in the video. It was totally worth the little extra elbow grease. The batter was pretty stiff but I still chilled it for a little over an hour in the fridge. Will definitely make again.
