Directions

  1. PREHEAT oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. MELT butter in medium skillet over medium heat; add onion. Cook until lightly browned. Add cream cheese; stir until melted. Remove skillet from heat. Add stuffing; stir to coat with cream cheese.
  3. COMBINE beef stroganoff and mushrooms in a large oven-safe skillet. Cover; cook over high for heat 3 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with stuffing.
  4. BAKE for 15 to 18 minutes or until stuffing is lightly browned.

This recipe is very tasty. You take an ordinary dish and made it even better. My husband decided to sprinkle some "Louisiana Hot Sauce" on it and it just got better. It gave it a whole new taste. I will certainly try it again.

This was a lot better than it looked like it would be when I was making it. I followed the recipe exactly... wouldn't change a thing.

This was fast and easy. I used more cream cheese than the original recipe called for but it was still a little on the dry side after I removed it from the oven. My family enjoyed it though so I will cook it again.
