brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®)
This was very good! I added 1/2 cup orange juice and 1/2 tsp. orange extract. If there was a fresh orange I would have grated some orange rind into the mixture. Cheated and cooked it on the top of the stove for about 20-30 minutes on a low heat stirring often.
A big hit at my thanksgiving dinner. People were asking for the recipe.
I love Grand Marnier so I was tickled to find this recipe. I made it a week ago and pulled it out to "taste" before the big day and I was disappointed to not taste that rich Grand Marnier flavor. Maybe I will try this with more G.M. next time
