Yum! I used fresh steamed green beans because they taste so much better than canned. Next time I would add either almond slivers or freshly made croutons though.

This was great though I did modify the recipe to fit what I had on hand. I used fresh green beans (about 4 big handfuls) which I boiled for 3-4 min til they were a tender but still quite crunchy. I then rinsed them in cold water til cool. I did not marinate the beans but used the marinade as dressing, using only 1/2 c oil. I subbed chopped Manchego for the Swiss and added 2 chopped tomatoes. This was super delish. Thanks for the recipe as it inspired me to have a new favorite salad with our garden veggies.

the dressing tasted MUCH too strongly of olive oil. the only thing good about this salad was the swiss cheese. i took it to a family meal and i got "it's ok" and "well...i don't HATE it..." needless to say, will not be making this again.

Delightful! The combination of ingredients was so unusual that I HAD to try this and was pleasantly surprised. I served this with Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers from this site and the comination was awesome.

This is really delicious! I would never have thought to combine these ingredients, but they really work. My husband hates canned green beans but he ate this salad up. My mother in law ate the leftovers twice! Very easy to throw together and really tasty. Have added it to my kitchen cookbook.
