Every summer for the past 3 years this is how I love to make my potatoes on the BBQ. So easy and sooo tastey! Definetly a favorite with my family and friends

Just a suggestion on the name, bbq isn't an accurate description, maybe 'grilled potatoes' would be better.

Wow these were excellent! Definitely compliments any BBQ meal perfectly. I will try it next time with vadilla onion slices and carrots.

Sorry, but I wasn’t impressed with this one at all. My experience has told me that anything cooked in a foil packet is going to steam rather than get crispy, and this recipe did exactly that. My hope was that the butter would brown them a bit, but that didn't happen. They were pale and didn’t look appetizing, and I think I'm being generous with my 3* rating. I think this would have been much better if done the way I typically roast potatoes, in the oven, on a baking sheet or in an oven-proof skillet, and left uncovered. I may try again, but not as written.

So my grill decided to die a painful death on me, so I tried these in the oven. They were good. Would have been better on the grill, I think,maybe with some bacon mixed in.....

I didn't make enough for my family of 5 -- these potatoes were gone in a minute, and everyone wished I had made more. Loved how simple and delicious they were. Terrific side dish paired with meat, fish, chicken, or eggs.

Excellent Starter recipe....I ended up using red potatoes, seasoning salt,pepper, and started with a layer of butter in the foil, then potatoes sprinkle with green onion and more butter, then more potatoes sprinkled with green onions on top layer with real bacon bits and more butter
