I made the recipe ALMOST exactly as called for, only adding 1/2 tsp vanilla to the butter/sugar cream as a variation. It was DELICIOUS! Moist and flavorful. Not too sweet and not too dense. Make sure you don't over stir it, it's imperative to the outcome. Will keep on hand as our go to recipe for banana bread, everyone loved it!!

I have made dozens and dozens of banana breads over the years. I've searched so many recipes for the easiest method and fewest ingredients that didn't compromise the end result. This one is it! So full of banana flavor, quick and easy. My search is over; I need never search for the perfect banana bread recipe again. The bread was totally devoured within the hour of making it.

I really loved this recipe the only thing i didnt approve of is that i made it into muffins and the batter got a lil too sticky to the paper ._. Other then that they are so yummy! Ohh and i added brown suger and oatmeal to the tops to make them more fancy

I just made this and followed the recipe as is. I thought it was very good, but a little bland. Next time I may use some other spices as others suggested to give it some more flavor.

The cook time on this was to long. I know my oven can be finicky, but I made sure it was at 350 and baked for 60 minutes. I had to cut off the sides and bottom as it was over cooked. The top was pretty good, just not very moist.

First time trying out this recipe. I did end up over stirring it which caused it to be more dense but it was still nice and moist. I only had two bananas on hand but that wasn't a big deal either concerning taste/texture. My only problem was that this banana bread didn't come out nearly as sweet as I thought it should (figures; only called for 3/4 cup of sugar!) I would highly recommend using 1/2 cup of sugar or adding chocolate chips to it. I spiced it up with a pinch of unsweetened cocoa powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, and 1 tspn vanilla extract. Despite not being sweet enough it is tasty enough and pairs well with a nice cup of coffee or tea!
