This recipe is great. Of course, I read the reviews and made some changes. I agree, you have to wait until the oil is hot and then place the chops in the pan. I fried them 2-3 minutes on each side. I only placed them in the oven for 45 minutes. Then for the sauce I used a can of cream of mushroom and a can of cream of chicken, substituted chicken broth for the wine and only used 1/4 cup of milk. Poured sauce over chops and baked for another 15 minutes. Delicious! Had enough sauce to pour over the rice w/ the chops. Definitely a keeper recipe.
