I hardly EVER make pork chops. They are just too chewy and bland! But my husband had an itchin' for them. So I stumbled across this recipe and was SO glad I did! Wowza! My perception on these has definitely changed. I came across a steal of a deal on thick pork-chops. I used 4. Followed the recipe(flavored each step on dredging). Fried, baked for 30min, added the sauce, and baked another 30minutes. I sautéed fresh mushrooms and added it to the sauce. Oh, and I was a little heavy handed with the Sauvignon Blanc! Phenomenal recipe! Soooo good! Can't wait to have this tomorrow for lunch. I served with corn and red-skin garlic mashers. Also, to go with the garlic theme....I got a can of roasted garlic cream of mushroom soup! I will definitely be making this often! This is definitely a keeper, especially for big family meals on a budget!
