this is my family's favourite way to have ham. I have cooked my ham with the coke and bag several times and it always turns out perfect. I always use just a "football" ham - no bone, cut off all the skin, pour 1/2 can of coke over top of it in the bag, seal, cut a couple holes and cook for 4 - 4.5 hrs. it is so tender and delicious - by far the best ham my family has ever had!!

I love this recipe! It makes for a very tender ham. I have experimented and used Sprite instead of cola and found it to be enjoyable as well. Thanks for the recipe!

This was really good! I marinated the ham overnight in the cola (a whole can) and rubbed liberally with brown sugar before cooking. The drippings were a bit sweet for gravy this way though, which I love - not much is better than good ham gravy! Overall, a wonderful way to make ham. I will definitely make this again. Thanks for a great recipe!

This recipe is great, I also marinated the ham overnight. It gave the ham a deep sweet taste. Served this at Easter and everyone loved it!

Yuk. I marinated the ham overnight, turning several times. It turned out moist, but nobody liked the taste.
