4 (6 ounce) boneless pork top loin chops, 1-inch thick
1 teaspoon coarse salt
4 slices bacon, preferably maple-flavored
4 tablespoons barbeque sauce
1/2 cup lager beer
1 teaspoon canola oil
1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
Totally delicious! The only thing I didn't do was the instructions on how to fry the bacon-wrapped pork chops - just fry the bacon and then bake on top of the pork chops. If I missed out on something I didn't know about it, as it turned out just great this way.
This was delicious! I added a little more BBQ sauce to the top of the pork chops. Also added more chicken broth and thickened it up to make more sauce.

It was very good and tasty, but the bacon was a little soggy. I probably should have cooked it longer. I also added chopped onions on the bottom of the baking dish and then laid the pork chops over the onions. I baked mine on 380 for 20 minutes. 5 extra minutes without a lid. I also didn't add any beer and it still tasted good and flavorful :)
This recipe was good! But the beer did not cook very well so it was bitter tasting and the glaze was very thin and slid right off the meat.
An incredibly simple and delicious pork chop recipe for the fall.
