I really wanted to make this, but I didn't have the instant vanilla pudding mix, so I just left it out. I also added some M&Ms. It came out delicious! :D

I will used at least 1/2 cup less sugar next time, it was too sweet. I will also put more walnuts, possibly 1 more cup. I baked on two different aluminum cookie sheets, one natural, the other non-stick. The natural tasted a little crispier but better to me. I didn't need parchment or grease on either sheet, because the cookies have A LOT of butter and came right off. I am going to try a healthier recipe, I saw the healthier award winning recipe on here, and I will let you know how that goes! =)

Good easy recipe, made a half batch. Soft on the inside and still crunchy on the outside.

I've been using this as my go-to recipe for cookies for months, and it's without a doubt my favorite. People love how soft they are, and how long the cookies stay soft. And you can do so much with it! Change up the flavor of pudding mix, if you want. Add dried fruits like cherries, raisins, etc. Throw in some lemon or orange zest, if you want to get crazy. Have fun! I just made some dark chocolate and cherry chip cookies, and they turned out awesome! Like others here, I would suggest adding more Vanilla Extract, and abiding closely to the cook time. If you wait until they're brown around the edges, they start hardening up. But even then, they are still amazingly delicious!

YUMM! Very good cookies, crunchy on the outside soft in the middle. I only had chocolate pudding on hand so I used that and since it was chocolate I put in half white chips and half chocolate chips. They are very tasty! Next time I will use vanilla pudding and try it that way too! I added 1 tsp salt and 3 tsp vanilla and that seemed to work nicely.
