Autumn Pear Dessert Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 1)

I really enjoyed this! Had brought home pears too firm to eat so thought I'd try it. I wrapped in wax paper first & put on the plate. It was a large pear so had to cook longer about 3 min. 45 seconds. Sliced up & sprinkled with Splenda because I just wanted a piece of fruit, not a dessert. Delicious like a baked pear but lighter. Thanks Patricia!

This is such a snap to prepare and was so tasty! I made the lower-fat version by using vanilla yogurt instead of whipped topping, and it was just perfect. Completely satisfied my after-dinner sweets craving and best of all I didn't reach for a chocolate bar!

Excellent, quick dessert! Will add to the file for "company desserts".

This is the fastest dessert I've ever made, and one of the best tasting! To save even more time, I used canned pears and just followed the recipie as directed, skipping the prep time for the pear. Try this recipie! You won't be sorry! Note: For a asian-spicy taste, use 1/8 tsp. (or to taste) os ground ginger.
