Wow! Like others who have reviewed this recipe, I too was not a salmon fan. I had a filet left in my freezer from an eariler attempt at making myself enjoy salmon, so I figured I'd give this recipe a shot. WOW! Fantastic! As other reviewers suggested, I cut the cooking time down to 15 minutes, and broiled it for a couple minutes. I only made one salmon filet (for my self), but made the marinade for 4 servings because I wanted to mask the fishy salmon flavor as much as I could. The marinade actually made me like the flavor of the salmon! It complimented it PERFECTLY! I did make a few changes that I would definitely suggest - I followed the marinade recipe to a T, but added 1/2 tsp garlic chili sauce for some heat (wonderful!), and 1/4 tsp ginger. I also added about 1/2 tsp extra brown sugar, and even sprinkled a bit extra brown sugar over the salmon right before I broiled it...It carmelized perfectly!
Also, instead of using rice I used a quinoa blend from Trader Joe's, cooked it with chicken stock and a smashed clove of garlic (which I removed before eating) instead of the water/bullion. I can't wait to get some more salmon to make this again!!
