This is the BEST marinade. I didn't make the Beef Skewers but just marinated the Flank Steak all day in this sauce and then put it on the BBQ. What a Fabulous taste. You have to try this.

Savory! I basically followed Jillians suggestions from using low sodium, vinegar, and which bbq sauce. Fr the next time though, im going to try out regular soy sauce because it short on the salty side.

I made this without the sherry since I didn't have any and it turned out great! I've never used hoisin sauce before and it gave them a very unique flavor! I took some to a cookout and several friends agreed that they turned out good as well. I'll definitely be making this again!

These were so good! I made it exactly like the recipe but cooked the skewers on my george foreman grill instead of a regular grill. The meat was tender and flavorful and the marinade was really easy to make! I marinated mine all night.

I tried this recipe awhile back and it tastes just like my family's recipe. If you're grilling you should try slicing the beef thin. I think they come out better. Tender and juicy and take no time to cook at all. Plus there's more to go around. :) Which is what your family and friends will want!

Incredible! We love it. I wouldn't marinate the meat any more than what the recipe says - overnight would be too much. The last 1 1/2 hours before cooking I threw some cleaned uncooked shrimp into the bag with the beef and let it marinate. A terrific duo of meat!

I made these last night. It was okay. The meat was tender, but the flavoring wasn't that good, and I followed the recipe. It didn't have much flavor.
