5 star I tried this recipe two years ago and my family loved them. My grandson which is in high school says this is his favorite which means its a must have for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Wouldn't change a thing about it....Thank you

Easy to make and delicious! I used uncured applewood smoked bacon. My only change would be to try and squeeze another piece or two of bacon on top.

After the first holiday dinner I brought this dish to, I was told that I couldn't attend another dinner without bringing the green beans with me. There's never any left over. I was a little leary with the soy sauce since I'm not a fan and I can't stand canned green beans but these are the best beans I've ever eaten. I will continue to make from here on out!

This was a big hit with my family. We always have a green bean dish at Thanksgiving, but after having this for dinner yesterday, it was agreed by all that we would use this recipe instead this Thanksgiving.

These are awesome! My kids (3 and 5) finished their plates! I did use half the recommended amount of sugar and add a good amount of chopped sweet onion with some additional fresh garlic.
