Original Recipe Yield 1 quart crisp
 

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Macintosh apples - peeled, cored and quartered
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Combine apples and brown sugar in a large Dutch oven.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes.
  4. Combine milk, flour, and oats. Pour mixture over apples and brown sugar.
  5. Bake for 1 hour. Serve.
