Excellent appetizer recipe! Made a few changes. Used proscuitto instea of boiled ham. Added 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper, 1/4 tsp. onion powder, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning to egg mixture & used only 2 eggs instead of 3. Worked perfectly. Baked 1st layer of dough at 375 deg. for 6 mins., let cool then started layers and also added 1/2 cup Mozzerella cheese as 1 layer. Baked the entire dish at 375 deg. covered w/foil for 25 mins. then removed foil & baked an additional 20 mins. to obtain fluffy & golden brown crust. The squares were cut after allowing dish to cool for about 30 minutes. Cut into perfect squares and still warm enough to serve right away. This appetizer was a hit! Everyone wants the recipe!
