WOW-- I have been making bread for many years, but I wasn't ready for the wonderful yeasty aroma of these rolls, and the taste is the best ever. I halved the recipe except for the 2 1/2 teaspoon of yeast, and used the bread machine for the dough. Once that was done,I punched fingers into the dough to deflate and then let it rise and deflate again. I dumped the dough onto a cutting board, and using kitchen shears, cut strips about 1 1/2 to 2 inches inch wide, and cut two inch pieces off that then rolled and put into pan. Didn't need to add flour to my hands, but did slightly oil them. After reviewing the recipe, I think that you are supposed to stir ingredients in a bowl, cover, rise, deflate, rise deflate, rise deflate and shape rolls. No kneading at all. Will triy it that way next time.
