Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 1)

The ingredients look basic but this dish is very flavorful and delicious. I would reduce the pepper flakes by 1/2 next time. It will still carry the zing and spirit of the recipe, but it won't be overly spicy to the point where it interferes with the flavor by numbing your taste buds.

Tasty, although not a ton of flavour. May try serving over spaghetti squash instead of pasta next time. Added yellow zucchini (corgette) and red pepper with the tomatoes when simmering and some spinach about 2 minutes before serving. I had cooked the shrimp with a little lemon juice - probably won't do that next time (or would add milk at the end to cut the acidity). Served with hot sauce and freshly grated parmesan cheese.

Great recipe! Of course, you must add your own little touches.... If you're a garlic lover, use one HUGE clove of elephant garlic. I also used equal amounts of fresh parsley and basil and substituted organic diced fire roasted salt free tomatoes and organic vegetable broth instead of white wine. We poured the wine into glasses and served it with dinner instead.

It was delicious! I used half the tomatoes than the recipe called for. I also cooked the shrimp in the sauce for 4-5 minutes instead of cooking beforehand. Easy to make and a few simple ingredients make this a go-to recipe! P.S. the hubs said it smelled like Olive Garden and tasted better!

Very good! I didn't use all the tomatoes called for, but pretty much followed the recipe otherwise. I added some lemon juice to the end product. Easy, tasty, and the family loved it!

I've tried this recipe twice now and I really like. The only changes I think it needs is a little less tomatoes and to include the tomato liquid inside the can. Without the liquid, it's a little on the dry side and the liquid actually helps form a nice thin sauce to go on top of the pasta. It's delicious with the freshly grated parmesean cheese on top.

Halved the tomatoes, didn't change anything else. Love this! One of my new staples. Just as good with dried or fresh herbs! Yum!

Amazing recipe. Flavorful, easy, and delicious. Awesome dish for many or just for two. I added a pinch of chili powder to the shrimp.
