I used two 1.5lb pork loins, which I rubbed with 1 teaspoon granulated garlic and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (total, not each) and seared them with a teaspoon of olive oil before putting them in the crockpot; I did *not* add more pepper to the liquid since I'd already used it in the sear. I flipped the loins halfway through cooking and thickened the jus to a gravy consistency on the stove top, whisking in 1 tablespoon each corn starch and flour. I got 2 full cups of gravy after thickening, so it went a bit farther than the meat itself. It is fairly salty, so use a homemade onion soup mix and/or low sodium soy sauce if that is a concern; or just serve it over unsalted potatoes. 4 hours on low should be perfect for a 2lb loin (at least in my crockpot), but it was a bit too long for two 1.5lb loins.
