Wow! This was so...Good! I change it up a little, because I was afraid it was going to be too salty as written. I used a 2 pound lean pork roast. I cut slits in the roast & add slices of garlic. Than seasoned the roast with 1/2 teaspoon of Thyme, 1/4 onions powder, & black pepper. I seared the meat in a pan first & cooked some fresh onions also. Than add to the slow cooker 2 Tablespoons of the dry onion soup mix, 1 cup of beef broth,a red sweet wine ( that's what I had on hand) & low sodium soy sauce. One hour before serving I add 2 TSP. of flour & 1/4 cup of water to thicken the sauce. Serve with brown rice. My husband couldn't stop talking about how much he loved this dish!
