I, myself loved this recipe. My family however found the taste of the wine to be too strong...they still finished every bite. lol

The pork was tender, that's for sure. It just wasn't that tasty. I probably would not make this again, but I would add something - perhaps BBQ sauce or cajun spices - to make it less bland.

I very much disliked the flavor of this dish. The meat turned out tender, but I thought the soy sauce and all of the onion soup mix kind of ruined the pork.

This recipe was fantastic. The only change I made was instead of putting the garlic on top I cut small slits in the meat and place the garlic in the slits. That was they stay in place. Thanks for the recipe!

Quite a few said that this recipe was too salty. I make my own dry onion soup mix (equals 1 packet) -- 8 tsp. dried onion flakes, 1 1/2 tsp. dried parsley, 1 tsp. onion powder, 1 tsp. tumeric, 1/2 tsp. celery seed, 1/2 tsp. sugar, and 1/4 tsp. ground pepper. Hope this helps.
