I absolutely love this bread and, just like the author, I also keep this on hand when I have guests over. I wouldn't change a thing!

Very nice bread. the almonds give it a crunch, and the ww makes it hearty but it isn't overwhelming. This bread is not sweet, so add more sugar or honey if that's what you want. It makes a very nice bread for toast. Thanks for the recipe!

The only alteration I made was adding 1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp more water. This is a wonderful bread. It is kind of the wheat bread I have been looking for. I love the crunch the almonds give it. Nice and dense and moist without being too crumbly. Very nice!

This was really good, I used all white bread flour and 2 different types of honey, I like most people had to add a tablespoon of water

The toasted almonds are great! I added 1 Tbs. water as suggested by other reviews, and used all whole wheat flour. This is a definite keeper!

A good basic recipe, as we are partial to bread that is on the sweet side, I upped the honey to 1/2 cup and added 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Didn't have enough wheat flour so substituted 1/4 cup rolled oats. Bread turned out well, and the honey taste really came through.

I modified this recipe a little. Instead of 1/4 cup honey, I added 1/3 cup and reduced the margarine from 2 tablespoons to 1. I also added 3 tsp coffee which gave it a lovely aroma and a deeper colour - I recomend this! Only proplem with this recipe is that the ingredients stipulated make a medium size loaf. For my hungry lot, I'd like a 1.5kg loaf, so I'll have to play around with amounts. Really, really good recipe 10/10.

Worked beautifully in my machine. Rose well, stayed fresh, not too crumbly. This may be our new everyday bread. I did have to add an extra T of water at five minutes but I attribute that to weather, not a recipe flaw.
