Original recipe makes 1 (8 inch) pan Change Servings

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray an 8x8 pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Mix crust ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Mix well. Press into prepared pan. Bake 10-12 minutes or until firm.
  4. Mix cream cheese and SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener together until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, scraping the sides of the bowl, and mixing well after each addition. Add sour cream and extracts; mix well. Pour over prepared crust.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 47 minutes, or until firm.
  6. Top with toasted almonds.

This was not good. I agree with another reviewer that the extracts were strange together. Maybe if only vanilla were used. My husband smelled it and wouldn't even try it.

This was exceptional. I am a new diabetic and have missed having a small sweet snack. This hit the spot and my family and friends loved the recipe as well. Thanks for this great recipe.

This recipe was amazing. I used fat free cream cheese and fat free sour cream, and I was still very happy with the outcome. Brought them to a Memorial Day cookout and they were gone before I even got one...Will definately be making again.

These pack an almond wallop! I think they’d be better with regular cream cheese though.

These had an odd flavor. Maybe the combination of the sour cream and almond extract mixed with the splenda after-taste was a bit too overbearing for me.

These are fantastic! Very flavorful, yet not too rich. A simple pleasure for a bridal shower or an afternoon tea.
