Excellent recipe! Moist, plump & flavourful. Liked that there was only 1/4 cup of oil. I doubled the blueberries and used pineapple juice because that was what I had. My husband said "don't lose this recipe" - so that had to mean that it was good!
Increased salt to 1/2t, berries to 1 1/2c (frozen). Used liners on 2, greased remaining. Baked at 375 considering bran muffs will be on the heavy side & the frozen berries. Added 1/2t vanilla, too. Love my vanilla. Baked 25 minutes. Oh, tried the honey-on-top idea someone suggested. 'Tried one lined one with & one without. 'Couldn't tell any difference other than the honey one was smooth, which may have nothing to do with the honey. 'Meant to add 1/2t cinnamon, but that one was forgotten. :( 'Thought my 15yr old boy would like with the slight orange flavor, not so much the bran :D, but he didn't go for it. Muffins weren't obvious bran muffins so I guess that's a good thing if you're trying to be sneaky. ;D And, if you think you're getting out of a tough muffin pan cleaning job by using liners, you aren't. They overflow, but not by a lot. The lined ones came out fine while warm. 'Don't know about when cooled. The greased ones surprisingly came out with just a little coaxing. The tops are sticky almost immediately. We'll eat these, but won't make again. Although, we still have more than half a box of cereal & for sure no one will eat it as cereal! :D
Not very often I give a 5 rating but these are excellent and similar to ones I have been making for years. Add orange juice makes a big difference to the flavor and would not recommend omitting it. When I am getting low on bran I substitute 1/2 cup of oats which works fine.
i made these muffins and my boyfriend wouldn't stop eating them! loved them. nutritious and delicious!
very good. I love the orange flavor. My 2 year old toddler LOVES them and my picky 5 year old (says she doesn't like blueberries) took a bite and said "YUMMY"!
My kids loved these. I used frozen mixed berries and they were bursting with flavour!
Excellent muffins. The recipe is perfect as is.
It is a good recipe to add any other kind of fruit if desired or a mixture of two berries.

A definite five star.
This is a really good healthy muffin recipe despite all the sugar. I added some cinnamon but they still seem to be lacking a bit of flavor. I still gave it 5 stars because it is by far the best Bran Muffin recipe I have tried. I think I would add another 1/2 cup of blueberries next time and maybe half milk, half yogurt.
