1 tablespoon chili sauce
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup butter, softened
8 slices rye bread
1/2 pound thinly sliced corned beef
1/2 pound sliced Swiss cheese
1 pound sauerkraut
we really liked these. I did use thousand Island dressing for the sauce though.
i like the idea of using a broiler instead of frying in a pan with a lot of butter. next time, i'll stick with 1000 dressing instead of the mayo/chili sauce combo. otherwise, an easy sandwich.

Delicious!Instead of sauerkraut,we used a jar of sweet-sour red cabbage, and spray butter on outside of sandwich before broiling. Definetly a keeper!
will try them again sometime i will try a different one that i have first before going back to this one
I used a spicy chili sauce instead of the typical mild store brand and added a slice or 2 of pastrami. Great stuff, will be keeping this one.
Very good! Next time I am going to heat up the kraut so that the sandwhich is nice and warm on the inside too.

I don't like chili sauce so I used Russian dressing. WOW. Not bad at all! Hubby loved it!
